MIDNIGHT
Midnight seeps through the lonely leaves;
Silent winds sweep the dull, dark sky;
Rain comes with a muted whisper.
Pitch-black shadows shroud the deserted garden
Lonely, half-forgotten whiffs of flowers scent
The dark rain drops falling on grey earth
Each drop a whisper of the past.
Midnights breaths are lonely;
Silence and gloom reign supreme.
